A Long Tradition of Bringing Leaders Together.
Since our opening in 1926, The University Club of Orlando has served as a sanctuary for business and community leaders.
What originally started on the 10th floor of the historic Angebilt Hotel as a group of college graduates wanting to extend the camaraderie of fraternity life has evolved tremendously.
As the club grew alongside the community it became more of a meeting place for those who now are known as the founding leaders of much of Orlando’s growth since the clubs inception.
Foundation and Scholarship
As part of that growth, in 1932 we founded The University Club Scholarship Program which has to date contributed over $3 Million in grants and scholarships to local students pursuing secondary education.
This program has given The University Club of Orlando a purpose that has made positive impacts on the local community.
The Present and Future of The University Club
The original vision of The University Club of Orlando thrives today with the opening of our world-class clubhouse in the summer of 2019.
This brand new premium space reflects the quality of our members and the community that it serves.
Our 4-story, world class club is not just a meeting space but a place for personal wellness, 5-star dining and a personal satellite workspace.
With our eyes set on the future, we are continuing our historic traditions while embracing and fostering the diverse culture within Central Florida.
Read all about The University Club’s earliest days in this wonderful written history, prepared by The Committee. As well as memories from Club Member, Paul Halyard, and his contribution to the Orlando Memory project.
